Vero Beach Dog Park

We started the concept of The Friends Of The Vero Beach Dog Exercise Area, Inc. over 15 years ago and our mission and goal has always stayed the same: provide a safe park for people & off leash dogs. We are proud that the Vero Beach City Council has the same vision and supports our efforts in this endeavor. Park amenities are self-funded by the friends of Vero Beach Dog Park – you can help by purchasing a memorial paver brick or see the menu for the donations page. No taxpayer funds purchase our improvements and amenities. Even the fencing was paid through donations.

New park improvements and events: Water! Electric! Large and Small/Quiet dog areas are completely fenced with a secured entry called a “sallyport” so your dog won’t escape while entering the park.

Memorial Brick Paver program: These bricks are engraved by local artisans with your personalized message or memory of a favorite pet or person. The goal is to eventually create a memorial walk with engraved pavers for visitors to  remember and reflect on their time together.

 They give everything, these forever friends who are our dogs. They ask for nothing in return except our love. We shall never forget them; their memories engraved forever upon our hearts. Their fragrance; their softness; their companionship; their listening ears and faithfulness and loyalty. They take with them a part of ourselves, and we give it gladly for the memories and the time we had together.
